PlayBrain’s expertise in communication around play put the team in a great position to put together a promotional video for a new Japanese toy called MOKURU.
The video was created for the Kickstarter campaign that launched MOKURU to the world, helping it reach more than 2,000% of the fundraising goal and ensuring a successful launch and broad exposure even before bulk production runs had completed.
MOKURU is a toy created by designer Masakazu Node. He was inspired by children twirling the caps of their fountain pens during class when he was school-aged.
The video highlighted the intuitiveness and simplicity of MOKURU as a toy, as well as tricks and an interview with the designer. The whole package was built for global appeal with a Japanese sensitivity.
