For the Clash of Clans launch in Japan and South Korea, Supercell enlisted the help of our team members to create a big marketing splash in both markets. Because of the game’s Western origin and art style, we came up with an idea that would help introduce a selection of the characters from the game to the Japanese and South Korean audiences.

We created six 15-second TV spots (three for each region) using an up and coming actor, Gota Watabe in Japan and a famous comedian, Kim Min-kyo in South Korea.

We also created a 30 second TV commercial specially for Japan that featured a live action train full of people combined with CG animated characters from the game getting up to some hijinks.
